Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
